Up Up And Away

This was a big trip for all of us. Traveling with two kids, and a disabled mother proved to be trying yet do able. The Kids Enjoyed their first Airplane ride and we perfect angels for the trip there. Now the trip back was a little different as we were on the road since 3:30 am. Still we received Compliments on how well behaved they were. Made me smile. Our trip included Family visits, Shopping excursion at our FAVORITE store in the world, Chad and I spent the night in the city and then to the Opera. We saw Don Giovanni. It was wonderful. My sister spent time with her mom and her niece and nephew. We also spent time at the Oakland Zoo. They have improved since I was a child and their children's section is fun and informative. Cole loved the giraffe and Ella adored the Otters. Ella just waved and said Hi to Everything and everyone that moved. We hope to make this journey again soon.

Soooo Foggy

It was So Foggy the Fog horns were going off every 10 seconds. It amused Cole and made me smile. Don't you just love sense memory. The clicky clack of driving over the Bay bridge, the taste of the water, the smell of sea air. A great time was had by all.

Ella and Cole took naps during the long journeys from point A to point B. Ella would not let go of her purse.

Driving

We did alot of driving during this visit. Here we are dead even with Angie in her Car.

We LOVE Ikea.

PLAYGROUND--- PLAYGROUND

When we were "lost" in Modesto we drove by a Playground. All Cole could do was whine pathetic like in the back seat "PlayyyyGroundddd" So after a day at IKEA Auntie Angie looked after Cole and Ella while Mommy and Daddy spent the night in San Francisco with a visit to the OPERA. Auntie Angie won Points by taking them to the playground and was rewarded by well behaved kids for bedtime.

AHHHH! The Ocean!

We are currently mid vaction in California visiting Auntie Angie, Great Grand Parents and My Favorite City. My sister has moved to Modesto so the kids have spent alot of time in the car but have been Amazing. Today we visited the Palace of Fine Arts. That is where Cole chanted The Palace, the Palace we are at the Palace. Drove down California Street the road is like a Roller Coaster and Cole wanted Mommy to drive "FAST". We then went to lunch at a Pacifica favorite Seafood Spot and enjoyed the ocean. Cole and Ella are very fond of the ocean spray and the surfers. We then drove up hill to visit Great Grandma and Great Grandpa. Cole and Ella had a blast exploring their home while Mommy, Daddy, Abula, and Auntie Angie caught up. Kids are sleeping and we should be too.
