Lewis and Clark Caverns
Today as a family outing we all went to the Lewis and Clark Caverns. Lewis and Clark had never been here before in fact they did not even know that these caverns existed. But since they are so historically famous they named them after the pioneering pair.
The journey up to the entrance was quite challenging. It was all uphill and very steep. Now as we all know I am not the fittest person out there so this hike up pretty much kicked my butt. I had to give Ella off to Chad after 1/2 a mile. Cole was a real trooper and made sure his Mommy was okay. I did make up the hill or dare I say mountain before the Tour Guide arrived. She had to fetch a flash light and took her time up the trail. Chad asked me how I was and all I could manage to say was that "Nature was trying to kill me" He laughed.
We then Entered the Caves and Climbed down countless stairs then she asked if anyone needed to go back because this is the only time we could leave backwards otherwise forwards. I looked at those stairs and thought "we are so going on! I can't make it up all those stairs"
Cole was pretty good, I mean he is alive and I am sure the Bats are tired to hear "Cole come here, Hold Mommy's hand" Ella had a bottle mid creeping thru the caverns and was ready for a nap and quite annoyed we were not placing her in her bed. Otherwise was well behaved.
Cole was so tired that when we had 1/2 a mile to go her could not go any further that he just sat down in the middle of the road and said "I'm Sitting here" He would not budge but was okay to have Mommy carry him on her shoulders for 1/2 a mile.
We got to the car had Lunch and once we pulled out the parking spot Cole was asleep and slept till 4:30 till we woke him up.
Chad is a little sore and I am just amazed I am not sore.
We shall see what is in store next outing.
Meet my new friend
Cole has no problem making friends. He met Ava and Asked to hold her hand. She held his hand for a little bit till her Mommy needed her to hold her hand.
Too Tired I Can't Go On!!!
Cole was so tired I had to carry him on my shoulders for about 1/2 a mile till we got to the car. This trip was a 2 mile hike. 3/4 mile straight uphill. We were so proud of him.

My GQ three year old
We had an improptu photoshoot at home and here are two of the gems. Family members keep and eye out in your mail boxes for some hard copies. We will post more later.

We Made it!
We spent a night and a Day in Yellowstone on a whirlwind guided tour of the park by a local Expert. Now he goes by the name of Pop Pop. We had a blast and all the information he spouted out as the geyser of knowledge. It is still swimming around in my brain. Yellowstone pretty much is our backyard. We plan to return for day hikes and some overnights.
