Santa 2007
Merry Christmas from the Leonard's. Weather is snowy and cold but the kids love it.
Tonight Mommy and Daddy will be getting the Christmas decorations out of storage. The kids and I will decorate tommorow. We also are planning a hunt for an Advent calander to count down the days to Christmas. We hope to have new photos to post soon.

Trick or Treat
This Halloween was JAM PACKED with fun. After the Kids donned their outfits, Ella a WSU cheerleader and Cole a Pirate, we headed off to a kids program put on by the City of Bozeman. The kids did arts and crafts and boogies to the music while chasing bubbles. Fun was had by all. We went home for a quick nap and onto Downtown Bozeman's First Trick or Treat. Ella had the saying down by the time we hit all the stores. What a great idea it began at 3pm so it was still warm and sunny. We then went home and Cole who was nap free fell asleep in the car. After a quick nap he awoke ready for more Trick or Treating. We all went around the neighborhood and Cole showed of his tricks for candy and Ella proudly said "Trick or Treat" and "Thank You". Cole also asked most of the neighbors if they had kids, or any pets. He is just so outgoing and friendly. I gotta keep an eye on that one. Both kids slept well and went to bed with no fuss.
Chuck E Cheese Visit
The Kids have to be REALLY good in order to make a trip to Montana's ONLY Chuck E Cheese in Billings, MT. It is a 2 1/2 hour drive. Both Cole and Ella were amazing on the drive down and back. Ella was dry the whole day. She made sure to let me know when she had to go potty. I was really impressed. We have her wear panties but not for long car rides especially when the exits are several miles apart. Ella enjoys being a big girl.

It's MY birthday!
Can you believe that this grumpy faced baby is now TWO! She is growing into a independent, do what I want and by myself little girl. She enjoys Bath time, Dress Up, saying No! and refers to Daddy as
"Not Mommy".
This little Girl is sweet and sings herself to sleep when we ask if she is tired. Just watch out for her mood swings when she gives you this look you better stand your ground or she will wrap you around her little fingers. We had a special dinner of Macaroni and Cheese with Waldorf salad and Jello. It was all Yummys and the Cake was a hit. Cole was disappointed because he got full and could not finish his piece of cake.
Ella enjoyed all her gifts. Thanks to Nana and Pop Pop and Auntie Angie and Uncle Vic.

Go Cougs
Nana and Pop Pop Leonard gifted a wonderful WSU Cougs Cheer Outfit for our little one's Second Birthday. She REALLY enjoys her pom poms and ran around shaking them. It was hard to catch non blurry pics with her and all her glory. She even knew what to do with the Cheer Horn. Thanks alot and Go Cougs.

Black bear comes to town

The appearance of a male black bear in Bozeman's quiet, residential northeast neighborhood Thursday sent residents and police scrambling, and sparked brief concern at Whittier Elementary School.
After eating some apples from a tree, hanging around Kmart on North Seventh Avenue and making an aborted approach to the nearby Applebee's Neighborhood Bar and Grill, the bear climbed up another tree and sat, looking sleepy and a little embarrassed. At that point, Montana Department of Fish, Wildlife and Parks officials were able to tranquilize and safely lower the bruin to the ground. He was then caged and taken away."He got a nice view from the tree, had a short nap and got out of there," said Brian Lloyd, the GWP game warden who corralled the wayward bear.Bears have been making more urban appearances across Montana of late, driven by the weather, fires and the never-ending quest for tasty, trouble-free food sources, Lloyd said.

A Wagon on a Hike!?!
Well we got alot of strange looks from people who were hiking to the falls at Hylite Canon. Strangely even from the four men on Motor Bikes as they breezed past with their loud vehicles.
The hike was very pleasant. The Tree coverage made for some great shade and a cooler temp than most of the population of Bozeman was feeling. When the four of us hit a fork in the road Chad thought that a different path would be a shorter path to the falls. He and Ella would stay on the Wider Handicap access trail and Cole and I would take the Narrow and Steep looking "shorter" trail. Needless to say that the trail was not shorter that it was longer and it was quite steep going up and going down. Cole and I also got to follow in a river bed for part of the trail. At one point Cole bent down and stuck his finger in tree sap that was coming from a tree root. He said what is this. I told him it was tree Boogers and he said " When I get home I am going to wash my hands straight away" I laughed and he laughed. There are no pictures of me on the hike but I really was there.
